Job Description
The Mobility LPN reports to the Divisional Director of Clinical Excellence. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Mobility LPN performs multi-skilled activities to support patient mobility, including, but not limited to, ambulation, transfers to/from chair, assisting patients in practicing exercises or functional activities, and total lifts to chair using lift equipment to achieve desired outcomes. The LPN will be responsible for updating the highest level of mobility performed each shift for assigned patients, as well as updating the mobility documentation, such as but not limited to, AM‐PAC scores.
Requirements (Education, Work Experience, Licensure, Registry & Certifications)
Graduate of a Practical Nurse Program and successful completion of the LPN NCLEX with a minimum of one year of patient care work experience in a health care facility
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required
