Job Summary
In this full‐time role, you will be the engine of the Verona St. Vincent de Paul thrift store team, which is tasked with delivering excellent service to our customers, donors and clients. The fundamental responsibility of this role is to manage employees and the day‐to‐day operations of the store by coordinating staff schedules, providing ongoing training, and fostering a positive atmosphere. By focusing on both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, the Store Manager strives to maximize the store's overall productivity and profitability.
What You'll Do
Train,



supervise and coach store personnel while implementing Store Sales Policies established by the Store Committee and BOD and work rules outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Make discipline recommendations to the SDRO/ADRO.
Manage departmental structure, development, and proper stocking and rotation of all thrift store merchandise.
Maintain proper cash handling and point‐of‐sale procedures.
Plan and manage projects related to departmental functions.
Manage and support change with direct reports.
Respond creatively and effectively to the challenges of running a profitable facility through sales promotions and expense control. Forecast and plan sales budgets.
Maintain a pleasant, professional, service‐oriented environment by modeling expected behavior for other employees and promoting a sense of teamwork and good morale among the staff.
