Manager, Software Engineering: Leading and mentoring diverse teams of engineers in development and operations, focusing on delivering high-quality software and enhancing team capabilities. Focus on translating business needs into capability building, fostering an inclusive environment, and driving engineering culture. Location: Hybrid (8 days/month). Must be able to work in the office in Lucca, Italy. Company CCH Tagetik, part of Wolters Kluwer's Corporate Performance & ESG division, delivers solutions for corporate performance management. What you will do Translate business needs into capability build up and hiring plans for own teams. Provide regular feedback and help team members set career goals. Foster a diverse and inclusive working environment. Identify blockers and ensure timely action. Set performance goals and track progress with regular check-ins. Collaborate with other teams and recruiting to facilitate integration and product launches. Requirements At least a couple of years of experience in leading people.
Solid understanding of application & system development and Agile practices. Refined prioritization skills. Strong understanding of how to drive a thriving Engineering culture. Experience in coaching and developing teams career wise. Fluency in Italian and English. Nice to have Background in security, SOC operations, compliance frameworks, or regulatory standards.
