Senior Dev Ops Engineer (Dev Ops): Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat Open Shift and Kubernetes clusters in hybrid and multicloud environments with an accent on scalability, reliability, and performance. Focus on operating Apache Kafka clusters, implementing observability solutions, and promoting Dev Ops/Git Ops practices with automation and CI/CD pipelines. Location: Rome, Italy (onsite) Company Euronext is a leading pan-European exchange group operating in the financial markets and technology sectors. What you will do Design, deploy, configure, and manage Red Hat Open Shift and Kubernetes clusters across on-premises and cloud environments. Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of hybrid and multicloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP). Operate and optimize Apache Kafka clusters, including Mirror/Mirror Maker configurations for replication and resilience. Implement observability solutions using Open Telemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, and Elastic. Promote Dev Ops/Git Ops practices with automation tools like Ansible and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI,
Argo CD). Requirements Location: Must be based in Rome, Italy for onsite work. 3–6 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure and platform delivery. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes/Open Shift in production. Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka distributed architecture, replication, and high availability. Expertise in Dev Ops, automation, and scripting (Bash, Python, Go, YAML). Solid understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and platform engineering principles. Experience with observability stacks (Open Telemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, Elastic). Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Nice to have Experience with IBM Power systems in containerized environments. Experience with virtualization and hyperconverged platforms such as Open Shift Virtualization, Nutanix, VMware, KVM.
