Backend Developer (Backend): Designing and building backend services with Node.js and Express, managing databases, and ensuring security and performance with an accent on advanced accessibility. What you will do
Develop backend services using Node.js, Express, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Manage and optimize databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL.
Implement security best practices and maintain high performance under heavy traffic.
Experiment with new technologies and stay updated on web development trends.
Ensure all products meet advanced accessibility standards for inclusive use.
Requirements
Location: Must be able to work hybrid in Turin, Italy
At least 3 years of backend development experience.




Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ES6+, Node.js, and RESTful APIs.
Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL.
Mental flexibility, creativity, and attention to detail.
Comfort with complex technical challenges including APIs and integrations.
Nice to have
Knowledge of Java or Python.
Experience with Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions).
Familiarity with accessibility testing tools like Lighthouse or Axe.
