Overview
Exact Sciences is seeking a Key Account Manager (KAM) to support the expansion of the Italian commercial organization for Onco type DX. This field-based role covers the North-East region of Italy, with Verona as the preferred location. The KAM will operate autonomously to drive regional sales growth and engage with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop local account plans aligned to the national brand plan to achieve above-expected sales growth.
- Use advanced selling skills with healthcare professionals (surgeons, oncologists, pathologists) to uncover customer needs and advance adoption of Onco type DX.
- Build relationships with non-clinical customers to demonstrate the value of Onco type DX to the National Health System.
- Operate autonomously within the designated region,



prioritizing activities to maximize return on effort; differentiate Onco type DX from competitors and implement effective account strategies.
- Provide logistical support to key personnel within designated cancer centers to ensure efficient ordering of Onco type DX.
- Participate in sales meetings and professional conferences; collaborate with sales management and marketing to communicate product messages.

Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of sales experience promoting complex products in medical oncology and/or diagnostics (ideally in breast cancer) with a track record of success in the region.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and decision makers across the National Health System, including reimbursement.
- Strong knowledge of regional KOLs (oncologists, pathologists, procurement, and key decision makers).
