Systems Engineer – Pomezia (Rome, Italy)
Salary range: €35,000 – €45,000 (depending on experience).
What you would do as our Systems Engineer
- Act as a key technical point of contact between customers, the Sales team, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist the Sales team in gathering customer requirements and designing tailored access control and security solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations, demos, workshops, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs); prepare documentation such as RFPs/RFIs.
- Support system configuration, deployment, and integration with third‑party systems (e.g., IT, VMS, IAM).
- Provide technical training and advanced troubleshooting (2nd/3rd level) to customers and partners.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to collect field feedback and drive solution improvements.

The skills and experience you need
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 3–5 years of equivalent experience in Systems Engineering, Technical Pre‑Sales, or similar roles.
- Solid knowledge of network architecture (LAN, WAN,



VLAN, VPN, cloud, hybrid, wireless, IoT) and client‑server environments.
- Good understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, iOS) and cybersecurity concepts (firewalls, SIEM, IAM, endpoint protection).
- Familiarity with system integration protocols and standards such as REST APIs, TCP/IP, MQTT, and JSON/XML.
- Experience or exposure to access control, system integration, or physical security solutions (e.g., CCTV, intrusion detection) is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value, and a highly autonomous, customer‑oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally.
