Location: Rome, Italy Role Overview As Global Business Line Manager, Traction Products, you will hold end‐to‐end accountability for the product portfolio that includes Traction Motors, Energy Storage Systems (ESS), Auxiliary Converters and DC‐DC Converters. You will shape the future of this product line, drive commercial excellence and deliver sustainable, profitable growth across global markets. The role reports directly to the President of the Traction Division and leads a geographically diverse organization, setting strategic direction for the four product lines and steering the full value chain from factory and embedded capabilities to commercial execution. Responsibilities Own full P&L; accountability for the Global Traction Products business line, driving sustainable growth, profitability and cash performance. Lead the strategic evolution and scaling of the portfolio,



strengthening value propositions and market positioning across target segments. Set clear accountability across product lines for factories, product management and engineering, ensuring alignment with business line priorities and enterprise objectives. Define and execute global go‐to‐market strategies that expand market share, reinforce pricing discipline and deepen customer intimacy across segments and regions. Establish and drive performance targets that promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization. Champion high‐impact marketing, sales and customer engagement strategies to elevate market presence and accelerate growth. Strengthen relationships with key customers and OEMs, positioning ABB as the partner of choice for traction and onboard energy solutions.
