Responsibilities Implement procurement activities according to local commodity/category strategies.
Plan, select, and purchase quantities of goods and merchandise to be sold.
Engage with existing suppliers and negotiate contracts.
Sourcing and building relationships with new suppliers.
Monitor market changes, competitor prices, and products.
Analyze past sales patterns to anticipate trends in consumer buying patterns.
Present new ranges to retail managers.
Requirements Fluent English (spoken and written)
Good knowledge of Excel
Three-year degree (ideally in Engineering Management, Business Administration or Business Economics)
3 to 5 years of previous experience in the role
Technical degree or equivalent technical background
