Overview Join the Industry & Energy Technology (IET) team at Baker Hughes as a Finance Senior Specialist – FP&A; Operations. In this role you will support the GTE‐Pumps business line with financial controllership and strategic support during the Inquiry‐to‐Order (ITO) phase, focusing on free cash flow conversion and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities Ensure financial controllership and provide end‐to‐end financial support during the ITO phase, driving effective free cash flow (FCF) conversion.
Partner with Commercial Operations and Commercial Finance to ensure compliance with order booking rules, validate costing methodologies, assess loss contract reserves, define cash curves, align on revenue recognition categories, apply cost of capital principles, and track key ITO performance indicators.
Track and analyze key ITO performance indicators, including orders, as‐sold margin, remaining performance obligations (RPO), convertibility, and detailed segmentation by product, region, application, end markets, machine type, equipment vs services, and inter‐plant flows.




Lead FCF pacing and planning, ensuring both direct and indirect cash‐flow visibility.
Forecast and analyze working‐capital components such as accounts receivable, inventory, progress collections, contract assets, and deferred assets.
Partner with Operations to support planning cycles, forecasts, and monthly performance reviews for collections, billing, and past‐dues.
Provide clear variance analysis versus targets, prior year, and sequential performance, and drive cross‐functional initiatives to improve cash conversion and linearity.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and digitalisation; actively support simplification initiatives across the business.
Act as a key finance partner to the General Manager, Business Unit CFO, and cross‐functional teams (Sales, Commercial, Execution).
