Systems Engineer – Public Sector (PAC/Defence)

devices, and data everywhere. We are currently seeking a dynamic Systems
Engineer to support our Public Sector team, with a specific focus on PAC/Defence
customers operating in highly sensitive and mission‑critical environments.
As a Systems Engineer – Public Sector (PAC/Defence), you will:
* Lead all technical aspects of the sales cycle for Defence, national security,
and government‑aligned organisations, including responding to RFIs, RFPs, and
RFQs.
* Manage and coordinate Proof of Concept (PoC) activities, ensuring alignment
with strict security, accreditation, and operational requirements common in
Defence and classified environments.
* Serve as the primary technical point of contact for PAC/Defence customers and
partners, working closely with your sales counterpart to support account
strategy and mission outcomes.
* Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements, including secure
communications, classified networks, cross‑domain solutions, and compliance
frameworks relevant to Defence and national security.
* Architect solutions that demonstrate Fortinet’s value in high‑assurance,
high‑availability, and highly regulated environments, differentiating us in
competitive and sensitive procurement cycles.
* Confidently present Fortinet’s solutions in customer meetings, whiteboarding
sessions, technical deep dives, and documentation tailored to Defence and
government stakeholders.
* Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions, as well as
the evolving threat landscape, adversary tactics, and technology trends
impacting Defence and national security missions.
* Effectively manage multiple projects and priorities while delivering a
consistently positive experienc
