JOB PURPOSE

The Electromagnetic Design Engineer will be a key member of the Electric Motor
Department, responsible for the electromagnetic design and optimization of
various motor technologies developed by the company. This role involves the
application of advanced engineering principles to support the development of
innovative, high-performance, and cost-effective electric motor solutions.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Electromagnetic design of Asynchronous, Synchronous Reluctance, permanent
magnet assisted synchronous reluctance, Permanent Magnet Motor
• Internal calculation software development (Excel, matlab, Simulink, ANSYS,
MotorCAD, Altair)
• Manage the project documentation (electrical datasheet, installation
manual, testing procedure)
• Support the Application Engineering Team on new opportunities evaluation
• Support the validation team
• Support Quality, Manufacturing Engineering on manufacturing process
development
• Support the purchasing department on validation of new and different
materials





EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Master Degree in Engineering (Electric, Mechatronics, Electronics preferred)
* 3 year(s) of progressive experience in a similar role (in automotive field is
considered as a plus)
* English: B2/C1 (written, spoken)
* Proficient technical skills Microsoft Office; PowerPoint, Excel
* Technical background in Electrical/Electronic products (rotating electrical
machine)
* ANSYS
* CAD 2D

Considered as a plus:

• Matlab, Simulink
• Motors fed by inverter
• PhD in Electrical field

SKILLS

• Excellent analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to be proactive and think forward
• Able to effectively interface with other disciplines in the organization to
achieve result
• Demonstrated ability to drive results

COMPENSATION DATA

Annual gross salary band: 30.000 - 40.000€
