Assistant Principal – Parma, Ohio
Constellation Schools is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Principal in Parma, Ohio dedicated to providing a superior education for all students. Leaders eager to create a rigorous and nurturing environment that prioritizes student engagement and achievement are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
Supports the school's educational program and maximizes student learning experiences in a safe learning environment.
Articulates the school's philosophy and mission and complies with all pertinent Ohio and Federal educational requirements.
Maintains a welcoming, safe, clean, orderly, positive and effective learning environment that promotes high academic and behavioral expectations.
Supports a framework that involves the entire school community in developing and supporting shared beliefs, values, mission and goals, ensuring continuous progress.
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with staff, parents, ODE, local elected and civic leaders, and the broader community.




Maintains positive school communication and seeks assistance from LLC staff to improve performance.
Implements Board policies and administrative regulations to provide an atmosphere in which students succeed.
Administers all Federal, State and Board adopted programs, adhering to all eligibility, record‐keeping, reporting and confidentiality requirements.
Supports the delivery of all Title and Special Education Services in compliance with applicable law.
Assists the School Principal in creating an operating schedule that ensures year‐round building access.
Participates in the interviewing of potential school employees.
Supports the School Principal in ensuring success of Community School Sponsor site visits.
Participates in student enrollment processes.
Attends all scheduled Board meetings.
Maintains the Parent/Student Handbook and Student Code of Conduct, handling student discipline fairly and consistently.
Communicates effectively with staff,
