General Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate - Plumbing to join our team on-site in Amelia, OH, near Cincinnati. This role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping plumbing materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and knowledgeable in plumbing supplies and warehouse procedures.
Responsibilities
Receive and inspect incoming plumbing materials and verify accuracy of shipments
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or shipment
Load and unload trucks using proper equipment and safety procedures
Organize and stock inventory in appropriate warehouse locations
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS)
Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (if certified)
Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment

Specific Qualifications

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge of plumbing materials and equipment required
Warehouse experience preferred
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) a plus
Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Work Environment
Fast-paced warehouse setting with frequent movement and activity
Exposure to varying temperatures depending on season and warehouse conditions
Regular use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools
Requires adherence to strict safe
