Junior Financial Controller
An organisation is seeking a Junior Financial Controller to join its Finance team, supporting management reporting, financial planning, budgeting, and business performance analysis. Working alongside experienced finance professionals, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in financial controlling, reporting, and commercial analysis while also providing support to accounting operations when required.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports, management reports, and business performance dashboards.
Produce and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business decision-making.
Analyse variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts, identifying trends and key business drivers.
Collect, validate, and analyse financial and operational data to support reporting and planning activities.
Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
Monitor business costs and financial performance, highlighting opportunities for improvement.




Prepare financial analysis and reports for management to support strategic and operational decisions.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial information.
Provide support to accounting and finance operations during peak workload periods, including accounts payable processing, invoice posting, and general administrative finance activities.
Requirements
Previous experience, including internships or entry-level roles, within Financial Controlling, Finance, Accounting, or Administration.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Strong interest in management accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, and business reporting.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other standard business applications.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
