BRUSH identified the European Transmission and Distribution market as a profitable and sustainable growth opportunity. BRUSH has already begun building strategic partnerships to enhance its market reach for our products and services, but an accelerated market penetration will provide an additional impetus to growth agenda.
Subsequently, the Strategic Business Development Director, Europe (SBDD) role has been created as a direct report to the Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer. The SBDD is accountable for the strategic business development of BRUSH in Europe, which will firmly position us in selected European country markets.
The SBDD, Europe, will be accountable for the following key responsibilities applicable to the identified markets:




Defining and executing a strategic playbook for the Transmission & Distribution market in collaboration with the broader functions and business units within the BRUSH Group (for example, the commercial team, Transformer and Switchgear product management and the respective business units).
Actively participate in the respective business planning and forecasting processes (for example, budget setting, monthly financial reporting, and weekly operations pluses, etc.)
Proactively developing new partnerships, assessing their market positioning and value proposition, building trusted relationships, positioning BRUSH’s products and services portfolio in order to create additional sales opportunities, and delivering profitable and sustainable growth.
In collaboration with the Commercial team, utilising existing customer relationships to introduce BRUSH’s enhanced product and service portfolio, identify sales opportunities, lead technical and commercial negotiations, and support the associated project management and service activ
