We are supporting an international manufacturer of environmental sanitation equipment in hiring a Technical Coordination & EU Compliance Engineer for its operations in Lavis, Italy.
The company manufactures waste collection and compaction vehicles, road sweepers, municipal vehicles, new-energy sanitation vehicles and related environmental equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate technical communication among R&D;, production, product management and Italian partners.
- Manage product technical updates, functional improvements and technical iterations.
- Support the Italian after-sales team in resolving product and application issues.
- Provide technical guidance, solutions and training to local teams.
- Manage EU certification processes for new products, including documentation, testing, certification-body coordination, non-conformity handling and certificate issuance.
- Monitor EU technical regulations and applicable Italian legislation.
- Conduct product compliance assessments and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
- Prepare the technical sections of tender documents, including proposals, specification reviews, response documents and technical clarifications.
- Support other assignments related to technical management, regulatory compliance and product support.
Candidate Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in technical coordination, product compliance or certification within the EU market.
- Experience in equipment manufacturing, industrial vehicles or machinery is preferred.
- Knowledge of CE certification processes, EU technical regulations and tender requirements.
- Experience working with R&D;, production, product management and after-sales teams.
- Professional proficiency in Italian and English.
- Ability to prepare technical and compliance documentation in both languages.
