The principal role of the Product Pricing Leader is to spearhead the implementation of advanced pricing analytics across the Materials GBU. **We count on you for**: - Lead margin management monitoring and cost/margin based recommendations developed with the PAM team: - Work very closely with Cost Manager to review cost&margin; position by product for the entire GBU scope, interface with PMs to review and plan actions, provide guidance and prioritization for implementation to the Value Management leaders to plan/prepare the execution phase with the Market Clusters
- Lead pricing initiatives driven by analytical tools: - Organize and lead the implementation of the AI Smart Pricing tool across the GBU to achieve the GBU objectives in terms of price impact and margin.
- Plan pricing initiatives based on cost evolution and/or periodic analysis of price dispersion, execute them aligning target potential with the different GBU stakeholders (Product & Asset Management, Market Cluster, Marketing) and monitor realization leveraging the existing tracking systems
- Act as Process Owner of data analytics solutions: - Maintain and Identify potential improvements to the advanced data analytics solutions which constitute the GBU’s data analytics ‘toolkit’, using both internal and external KPIs. The latter include market indices, evolution of product prices,
- Collaborate with the Product Managers and Sales Directors on the business rules governing the algorithm and ensure the recommendations are sound from a business and market perspective.
- Collaborate with the Syensqo CEM Team on the refinement and evolution of the tool, through thought leadership, active participation, ingenious collaboration, and hands-on support **You can count on us for**: - This transversal position offers the opportunity to: - Develop a broad understanding of the Materials GBU business

- Contribute to shaping new tools and ways of working to foster a Value oriented business culture Be part of a caring, trustful and transparent team, sharing mixed competencies and backgrounds**You will bring**: - Bachelor degree in scientific studies, Master’s preferred. Advanced training or degree(s) in data-intensive fields of study (e.g., Data Science, Pricing, Physics, Math, etc.) would be desired
- 3-5 years of prior experience in a similar role and/or execution of AI implementation projects,
including solid exposure to implementing AI driven pricing processes in B2B and delivering pricing initiativesDemonstrate strong quantitative skills and bias
- Demonstrated experience and expertise leveraging data and analytics to deliver significant outcomes
- Brings a practical and pragmatic approach to creating and executing value, with the ability to move from a theoretical statistically sound approach to a practical one that delivers tangible impact to the business
- Has demonstrated skills and experience in Project and Program Management
- Experience leading cross-functional teams. Demonstrated influencing skills necessary to align different stakeholders
- Able to deploy strategic and analytical thinking; able to identify pricing drivers and value levers within a customer relationship or a market segment
- Have strong analytical skills, comfortable dealing with numerical data, have strong attention to detail, and be able to prepare support packages, including fact findings
- Have the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Master Google suite and/or Microsoft Office packages and have knowledge of CRM tools (eg. Salesforce, other database) as a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on and complete critical projects that have a significant impact on the business
- Is the owner, power user, and curator of a portfolio of data analytics solutions.
- Proficient in English with the ability to write and influence senior level executives internally and externally
