- The resource works directly under customer control. In the Supply Chain Department, the resource holds governance responsibility for managing subcontractors. **Key Accountabilities** **Purchasing Strategies (20.00%)**
- Identify functional objectives and collaborate with the Head of Direct Procurement to identify and implement purchasing strategies (category plan).
- Define the area budget (standard cost, lead time, DPO, etc.) in collaboration with the Head of Direct Procurement.
- Share responsibility with Planning and Warehouse for maintaining production material stock levels to meet the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) while maximizing turnover.
- Responsible for actions taken to achieve functional, departmental, and company objectives.
- Manage the processes of sharing strategies with internal stakeholders (GM, LOB, Eng, MA, Mfg).
- Oversee the information management system for the subcontract area according to defined KPIs.
- Manage supplier base. **Procurement Process (25.00%)**
- Ensure procurement processes adhere to company procedures while maintaining efficiency and effectiveness.
- Cultivate strong relationships with Integrated Product Teams (IPT).
- Engage critically with suppliers and conduct significant negotiation activities concerning costs, lead times, quality, and terms & conditions (T&Cs;) that must reflect the customers' contractual terms and conditions. **Production Process (25.00%)**
- Ensure the management of issued orders aligns with the production plan,
requiring clear engagement with planning and a strong commitment from suppliers.
- Activate and maintain consistent and continuous alignment with suppliers through weekly routines that foster a partnership in the supply process.
- Promptly communicate any issues to Planning.
- Oversee recovery plan actions by monitoring supplier performance (lead times, costs, quality) and resolve any supply issues or delays.
- Manage supply issues related to quality and/or process in collaboration with LOB, MA, Eng, and Mfg.
- Collaborate with Finance to manage payments according to the T&Cs; defined with suppliers, avoiding supply interruptions. **Stakeholder Relationships (25.00%)**
- Act as the point of contact (POC) for subcontracts within the IPT model.
- Demand complete, clear, and timely information from IPT leaders while ensuring that the project receives the required supply information.
- Govern communication processes with suppliers.
- Ensure communication processes with other company functions and clients are maintained. **Company Procedures (5.00%)**
- Hold governance over functional company procedures, with the authority to make changes.
- Ensure maximum support for auditing processes in the subcontract area. **Education**

- A minimum of 5 years of previous experience in a buyer role, with at least 3 years in direct purchasing.
- Previous experience in operational areas (e.g., Quality) is considered a plus.
