**Post doc position in artificial microscope: realization of a label-free versus fluorescence transformer based on advanced optical microscopy imaging**

Our Genoa headquarter is strictly inter-connected with our 11 centres around Italy and two outer-stations based in the US for a truly interdisciplinary experience. **YOUR TEAM** The research is linked with EU projects, including Eurobioimaging, COMULIS, MOSBRI, and INSTRUCT, and technical scientific collaborations with Nikon, Leica, and Coherent companies. Two registered marks, LIQUITOPY® (LIQUId Tunable microscOPY) and MOMIX® (Multimodal Optical Microscopy Image Correlation Sensing), represent a groundbreaking development of the optical microscope carried out at DiasproLab. The research points to establishing a new paradigm in data collection and image formation with high impact in biophysics, bioengineering, and biomedicine.



Such an innovative approach aims to realize a brand new multiscale and multimodal microscope allowing simultaneous contrast available in the image formation process including label-free non-linear and polarization-based optical methods and boosted by original algorithms developed in the framework of artificial Intelligence and computational models towards I-MOMIX. **WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU SHINE**
- A PhD in Information Science, Computational Bioengineering, Physics including Biophysics (see for example: Biophysical Journal, Sep 03, 2024 Volume 123, Issue 17, pp2647-2956.)
- Documented experience and skill in artificial intelligence with a focus on imaging.
- The ability to properly report, organize, and publish research data
- Good command in spoken and written English **EXTRA AWESOME**
- Experience on methods like CNN, ICA, tICA and similar.
- Knowledge of Python, Matlab, Huygens (SVI).
- Good communication skills
- Strong problem solving attitude
- High motivation to learn
