A Day In The Life: As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will play a key role in driving rocksolid Indirect Tax compliance. You'll partner closely with the Tax Manager to ensure all obligations are met accurately, on time, and without surprises. You will own and execute critical indirect tax routines, including tax calculations, tax returns, and statutory filings related to ISS, WHT, and other applicable taxes.
You'll also be a goto expert supporting the team on ICMS, ICMSST, and PIS/COFINS, ensuring calculations and submissions are precise and fully compliant. Beyond execution, you'll level up our tax operations by creating strong controls, documenting standard procedures, and continuously improving how we work. Your expertise will help streamline processes, reduce risk, and build a bestinclass indirect tax function.The Impact You'll Make: Perform Indirect tax routines: tax calculation, tax returns, and other obligations related to ISS (Municipal tax levied don the provision of services), WHT (Income Tax Withholding)
and others.Assist team members to perform the tax calculation, tax returns and other obligations related to ICMS (State tax on the circulation of merchandise, electric power, rendering of interstate and intermunicipal transportation services, and communications), ICMSST (Taxation regulation used by federal and state governments in Brazil created to avoid double taxation and tax evasion), and PIS(Federal social contribution calculated as a percentage of revenue)/COFINS (Monthly federal social assistance contribution calculated as a percentage of revenue).Create controls to be used by the tax department and perform tax reconciliation as requiredFollow up on tax legislation changes and apply them accordingly to business operations.Give tax support and orientation to other departments, vendors and suppliers.Support on Government tax audits, tracking the tax outsourcing deliveries related.
Who You Are: Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Accounting, Finance, or related field of studyAdditional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in tax research and assist in analyze technical tax issues.Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in tax ReconciliationComputer Skills Desired: Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and other report applications is preferred.Preferred Certifications: SAP and Synchro systems knowledge is preferred.Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Good English written and spoken is preferredJob SummaryRequisition Number: SENIO011936Job Category: Accounting/FinanceSchedule: Full-Time
