Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Python and Django to join a high-performing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who has spent significant time building and maintaining production systems with Django and has a strong foundation in Python development.

We’re looking for engineers who can take ownership of complex backend systems, make sound technical decisions, and contribute to scalable, maintainable solutions. This is a senior-level position requiring extensive hands-on experience with both Python and Django.

Primary Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and Django

Develop and maintain robust APIs and backend services

Design and optimize database solutions and data models





Troubleshoot complex production issues and improve system performance and reliability

Collaborate with frontend engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders

Participate in architecture and technical design discussions

Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code

Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

Support CI/CD pipelines and production deployments

Some Must-Haves:

7+ years of professional Python development experience

5+ years of hands-on Django development experience

Strong understanding of backend architecture and web application development

Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade applications

Strong knowledge of APIs, databases, and software design principles

Experience with automated testing and modern software development practices

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex technical projects

Strong communication skills and English fluency (written and verbal)

Open to 100% Fully Remote

Other Information The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
