**Responsibilities**: - Building up customs team and provide operational guidance and coaching employees.
- Helping the company deal with customs compliance issues and regulations, etc.
- Creation of import customs clearance instructions Identifying potential areas of improvement and develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with cross-border trade Collaborate with relevant stakeholders including customs officers, trade partners, and other government agencies to gather insights and data for risk analysis.
- Developing risk assessment models and tools to evaluate the likelihood and impact of various risk factors on customs operations
- Implementing risk management protocols and procedures to streamline customs processes and enhance compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Developing a customs risk management guidebook and/or manual.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of risk management initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Staying abreast of developments in customs regulations, international trade practices, and emerging risks to ensure the effectiveness and relevance of risk management strategies. **Qualifications**: - Rich customs experience and resources in local market.
- Familiar with local customs policies, regulations, compliance, customs clearance processes and risk points of different business types.
- Excellent managerial skills, in-depth knowledge of customs regulations, trade compliance standards, and risk assessment methodologies in the local country.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in customs administration, risk management, experience in ICS2 management or related fields would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing risk management strategies in a customs or trade environment. **Working location**:
