We are seeking a Senior Project Director to lead the delivery of a world-class, highly prestigious new football stadium in Rome, Italy.This is a rare opportunity to manage all aspects of project implementation for one of the world's leading sports venues, overseeing design, construction, and commissioning from start to finish. Key Responsibilities

•Lead day-to-day project management, supervising Project Managers, Construction Managers, Project Controls, and Assistant Project Managers.

•Manage all Client direct contracts, including architects, engineers, consultants, and construction agreements.

•Monitor project budget, schedule, and design completion; conduct regular status meetings and report progress to the Client.

•Oversee procurement processes for subconsultants, vendors, and client-direct works.

•Establish and lead project team meetings to track design, construction, budget, and schedule progress.

•Manage quality control, risk mitigation,



and contractor performance on site.

•Review and negotiate change orders, time extension requests, and additional services to protect project scope, schedule, and budget.

•Coordinate approvals, permits, league and government authorizations, and support obtaining a Certificate of Occupancy.

•Facilitate commissioning and handover of the new venue.

•Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment across all project teams and stakeholders. Requirements

•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.

•Proven experience delivering high-value, complex sports, entertainment, or public assembly venues.

•Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including ownership or board-level reporting.

•Exceptional communication skills in English and Italian.

•Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Project preferred.

•Detail-oriented, organised, analytical, and collaborative, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
