Accounting Assistant

**Key Responsibilities**: - Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including journal ledgers, invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Italian accounting standards.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and collections.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns and other mandatory financial declarations in compliance with Italian tax laws.
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Provide assistance in audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Stay updated with changes in Italian tax regulations and ensure compliance with all fiscal requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed to support the accounting department. **Requirements**: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related experience
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably within an international context.
- Strong knowledge of Italian taxation, fiscal regulations, and corporate compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be Enrolled in L68/99 List
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluency in English and Italian.
