The Brain Development and Disease Research Unit is coordinated by Laura Cancedda, who has extensive experience in neurodevelopment and neurodevelopmental disorders models. The laboratory research focuses on understanding the cellular and molecular determinants of neurodevelopment and neurodevelopmental disorders with the final goal of translating this knowledge into therapies. Within the research team, your main responsibilities will be to conduct independent research on your project while enriching the know-how of the lab with your experience. **ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- A PhD in neuroscience, neurobiology, molecular biology
- Documented experience in molecular/cell biology and biochemistry
- Strong publication record
- Good command of spoken and written English **ADDITIONAL SKILLS**
- Experience in behavior, bioinformatics and/or organoids is a big _plus_.
- Ability to work in a challenging and international environment
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment
