**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented **Project Engineering Specialist** to join our team specializing in **Engineering** for our **Marketing Power Gen Department** in **Milano, Italy.** **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways**: - Central Coordination: Act as a key point of coordination and decision-making among product line engineers, customer teams, systems engineers, purchasing, suppliers, and manufacturing.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather input from various stakeholders to deliver information and recommendations that lead to quality product decisions.
- Project Advancement: Use your academic knowledge and experience to make decisions that move projects forward without compromising quality.
- Independent Leadership: Lead smaller projects with business impact or own complex components, products, systems, or services, ensuring accountability to the project team.
- Work Process Development: Develop and improve work processes and systems within your functional discipline area.
- Knowledge Transfer: Coordinate and direct work among technicians and temporary student employees and assist in transferring knowledge to less experienced engineers.
- Technical Guidance: Provide support and guidance to influence technical direction within the project team, while continuing to develop proficiency in critical competency areas.
**RESPONSIBILITIES** **To be successful in this role you will need the following**: - Technical Proficiency: Expertise in setting up, configuring, and maintaining Schneider PLCs, along with a solid understanding of open/closed loop control systems and their interactions with mechanical, hydraulic, chemical, and electronic systems.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively support and interface with suppliers and customers on PLC-related matters, ensuring clear and concise communication.
- Configuration Management: Skills in establishing and maintaining product configuration and change management processes, including tracking and communicating changes from concept to obsolescence.
- Mechanical Design Knowledge: In-depth understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to create detailed design specifications that meet customer requirements and industry standards. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education/ Experience**
- Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred.
