Given the need to expand our services in our Corporate Offices, we are currently looking for a **Warehouse Coordinator**in Busseto (Parma). The Warehouse Coordinator reports to the Corporate General Services Manager. The core responsability is to coordinate all the Warehouse Managers assigned to the various locations which include: - Headquarters (Italy)
- Branches / Subsidiaries
- Projects The activities include: - With the aim of optimizing purchases, strategically monitor stocks, on all the operating units, and therefore assisting purchasing managers in checking any availability prior to issuing orders.
- Participate in the selection of personnel who will be in charge of warehouse management and provide training on-site activities based on the main operational and IT activities such as shipping, acceptance, handling, storage, inventory management, inventories.
- Verify, by on-site visits, the correct development of the warehouses, both from a logistic and infrastructural point of view i.e by organizing the necessary areas and structures suitable for warehouse management together with verifying appropriate spot checks of stocks and consequently implement corrective actions.
- Verify that suitable separate areas are assigned for the management of the material delivered by the customer (free issued) and/or for the Non-Conform material. Give support to the final operations of reconciliation of customer material.
- Verify that the materials received, unloaded and stored in the storage depot are duly accounted for /recorded;
- Issue reports to the various operating units and to Top management.
- Ensure that handling activities, such as loading and unloading of vehicles and equipment, is carried out by authorized personnel to use the specific means of transport and that it is carried out in compliance with internal SICIM policies and safety standards;
- Identify, among the materials returned from the worksites, those which are to be considered waste or residual material and route the material accordingly, in collaboration with the Vehicles/ Equipment Manager;
- At the end of the construction activities on the projects, carry out a survey on the remaining material in order to identify the recoverable, usable material and the ones to be decommissioned/sold on site with the aim of minimizing the consequent return of materials to headquarters. **Requisiti**: - Good knowledge (written and spoken) of Italian and English
- Strong analytical, interpretive, organizational and problem solving skills
- Relevant Degree / qualification
- At least 5 years experience in the position in a structured company
