We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy!The Mechanical Designer/Engineer primarily works on Engineered-to-Order (ETO) design projects to meet customer requirements in a team environment. These designs will typically be large Power Distribution Cabinets and Power Switching Cabinets for use in data centers.
Will be required to meet project goals such as schedule, manufacturability, and cost. This position will consist of creating designs, drawings, bills of material, and processing Engineering Change Orders.Create 3D models using sheet metal and part modeling functionality in CAD Create complex drawings and bills of material for sheet metal, bus bar, and assemblies.Write, submit, release Engineering changes to new and released product documentation in CAD and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) database using our revision control system.Work with cross functional groups with the same goals for the project.Ability to interpret agency design standards (Such as UL) for our products.Create order list for prototype units and ensure material is received with Project Managers.Work with ETO Engineering Supervisor for task lists and priorities.Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience ORAssociates Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience ORHigh School Diploma and 15+ years of relevant experience.Must have good planning, organizing, documentation and communication skills.

Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits.
