About the roleSchaeffler Water Pump Bearing Italia is looking for a CAD/CAM Designer and Draftsman to join the Plant Industrial Engineering function.The selected candidate will be responsible for projects related to complex tooling, equipment, machinery, plants, or their main components.
The role involves defining the optimal solutions, proportions, and dimensions through the development of overall design drawings.
This includes calculating key components and defining dimensions, materials, and tolerances, as well as carrying out studies on modifications and improvements to existing designs, also in collaboration with other departments.
In addition, the candidate will actively support the CAD-CAM technologies used within the plant,
both technically and operationally.Your Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and design of tools and equipmentDevelopment and design of machine partsTechnical support to production and support departmentsCreation of item numbers for toolingDrawing management and filingReview and approval of drawings for tools and equipmentReview of incoming technical documentation for tools and equipmentTechnical assistance and support during industrialization and setup for new product typesDesign and commissioning, where required, of mechanical equipment and devices for productionYour QualificationsBachelor's degree in EngineeringKnowledge and use of CAD software (Creo, Pro/Engineer, AutoCAD)Good knowledge of English languageOur OfferingPay Range: 28.
