The I&C; Engineer 2 is responsible for designing and developing industrial automation systems, including electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and PLC/HMI/SCADA programming. The role involves managing projects from the initial conceptual phase through to commissioning and final acceptance by the client. It requires close coordination with the mechanical, process, and electrical teams to provide integrated and reliable automation solutions.

What you will do as a I&C; Engineer:

- PLC programming for water treatment plants and skids.
- HMI development and configuration.
- SCADA system integration and maintenance.
- Process software development: management of pumps, valves, levels, flows, pressures, alarms, and automatic sequences.
- I/O management, field instruments, and plant diagnostics.
- Conducting FAT on-site (functional verification, logic testing, simulations, and customer validation).
- Plant start-up on site, commissioning, and support for final testing (~20% annually)
- Interface with the electrical office, project manager, and service team.
- Support the Service department for troubleshooting and post-start-up assistance (including remotely).

Who you are and what you bring to the table:

- At least 5-10 years of experience in PLC programming in an industrial setting (junior profiles will also be considered).
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Automation / Computer Engineering.
- Knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal.
- Knowledge of HMI and SCADA systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
- Familiarity with industrial networks (e.g., Profinet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, OPC-UA).
- Knowledge of English at least at B1 level.
- Willingness to travel for commissioning and on-site support (~20% annually).
- Practical approach, problem-solving skills, and technical autonomy.
