Description of the RoleThe Distribution Planning Manager EMEA leads the regional Distribution Planning organization, ensuring optimal product availability, target service levels and inventory performance across the EMEA logistics network.The role manages a team of 6 planners responsible for global distribution planning activities across EMEA, Americas, APAC and Developing Markets, driving deployment planning, H2H process and inventory optimization while balancing service, cost and working capital objectives.The position is based in Sesto San Giovanni, Milan (Italy) and reports to the EMEA Supply Planning Director.Main ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team of 6 Distribution Planners, supporting career growth, capability building and continuous improvement.Ensure achievement of target service levels and inventory targets across the regional distribution network.Oversee deployment planning and inventory optimization activities across EMEA and export markets.Coordinate the H2H planning process from Americas plants, consolidating requirements from EMEA, APAC and Developing Markets.Lead weekly S&OE; reviews with EMEA markets, proactively identifying risks and defining mitigation actions.Coordinate Supply Review activities, including supply risk assessment,



root-cause analysis and scenario evaluation.Lead regular alignment with Americas and APAC planning teams to address supply challenges and improvement opportunities.Contribute to logistics network optimization initiatives, improving inventory productivity, service and transportation efficiency.Promote standardization, process excellence and planning system adoption across the organization.Key RelationshipsEMEA and Global Supply Planning TeamsRegional Distribution Planning TeamsDemand Planning TeamsCustomer Service & Logistics TeamsRegional SC FP&A; TeamManufacturing Sites and Global Supply Chain FunctionsExperience & QualificationsMaster's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Operations or related disciplines.6+ years of experience within Supply Chain, preferably in Distribution Planning, Supply Planning or End-to-End Planning roles.Proven people management experience in international environments.Strong understanding of inventory optimization, deployment planning and logistics networks.Experience operating within S&OP; / S&OE; processes.Advanced knowledge of SAP IBP, SAP ECC/S4 and analytical tools.Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.Personal TraitsStrong leadership and coaching skills.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Analytical and data-driven approach to decision making.Continuous improvement and transformation mindset.Compensation and gradingThe indicative annual gross salary (base salary) for this position ranges within EUR 55-65K, depending on the candidate's experience, skills, and overall profile.
