Together we provide integrated engineering and project management services across the project lifecycle – from concept and design to construction and operations, to decommissioning or repowering and life extension. Together with our clients, we’re helping to deliver the energy transition globally. /p h3Overview Of The Role /h3 pDue to recent project wins and with further exciting opportunities in the pipeline, we are looking for a Project Technical Lead (PTL) to join our Energy Transition business in the Genoa office, supporting thermal detailed design, owner's engineer and technical advisory assignments. /p pThe PTL will provide technical leadership across complex energy transition projects from early development through to delivery, commissioning and handover. The role is responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary engineering inputs, assuring technical quality, managing interfaces and risks, and ensuring solutions are practical, compliant and aligned with client objectives. /p pThe PTL will lead detailed design activities and supports clients through Owner’s Engineer and technical advisory commissions. Typical responsibilities include design review, technical due diligence, feasibility and FEED support, tender and procurement input, contract review, construction monitoring, commissioning support and technical risk management. /p pThe role requires strong technical judgement, leadership and client engagement skills, with the ability to guide teams, challenge technical proposals, and deliver clear, risk‑based advice. The PTL will play a key part in helping clients develop and deliver high‑quality Energy Transition projects safely, efficiently and successfully. /p h3Key responsibilities and duties include: /h3 ul liLead technical delivery across Energy Transition projects covering detailed design, Owner’s Engineer and technical advisory services /li liAct as the main technical point of contact,



coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing technical interfaces /li liOversee and review technical outputs to ensure they are high quality, compliant, buildable and aligned with client requirements /li liSupport delivery across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and FEED through procurement, detailed design, construction, commissioning and handover /li liRepresent clients’ technical interests on Owner’s Engineer commissions, including design review, tender support, technical bid evaluation, contract review, construction monitoring and commissioning support /li liDeliver technical advisory services including feasibility studies, technical due diligence, risk review and technical reporting /li liIdentify and manage technical risks, design issues and project interfaces to support successful project outcomes /li liWork closely with project managers and clients to deliver projects safely, on time, on budget and to the required quality /li liBuild strong client relationships and contribute to bids, proposals and technical leadership across the team /li /ul h3Candidate specification /h3 pbEssential: /b /p ul liDegree qualified in engineering or a related technical discipline such as electrical, mechanical, civil, structural, process, power or energy engineering /li liProven experience in a technical leadership role within the energy sector, such as Project Technical Lead, Design Lead, Owner’s Engineer (OE) or Technical Advisor (TA) /li liStrong experience delivering multidisciplinary thermal generation or wider low‑carbon energy systems /li liDemonstrable experience in detailed design delivery and design review, including coordination of technical interfaces across multiple disciplines /li liExperience supporting or leading OE and/or TA commissions, including activities such as technical due diligence, feasibility studies, tender support, bid evaluation, contract review, construction monitoring and commissioning support /li liStrong understanding of technical risk management, design assurance, quality processes and compliance with relevant standards and specifications /li liAbility to lead technical teams, make sound engineering decisions and communicate clearly with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders /li liStrong report writing, presentation and client‑facing communication skills /li liCommercial awareness, with the ability to balance technical quality, programme and budget requirements /li liCommitment to safe, sustainable and high‑quality project delivery /li /ul pbDesirable: /b /p ul liChartered status with a relevant professional institution, or working towards chartership /li liPostgraduate qualification in a relevant engineering, energy or technical field /li liExperience working on international projects or with geographically dispersed multidisciplinary teams /li liExperience acting for developers, owners, lenders, investors or public sector clients /li liKnowledge of procurement strategy,
