This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, optimizing warehouse efficiency, and maintaining the highest safety standards. /ph3Job Responsibilities /h3ulliDevelop, implement, and enforce robust safety protocols and procedures for the handling, storage, and transportation of hazardous materials,



in full compliance with national and international regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA, IMDG, local fire codes). /liliManage and optimize warehouse layouts, inventory systems, and material flow for hazardous goods to maximize efficiency, capacity, and safety. /liliOversee the receipt, inspection, labeling, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of hazardous materials, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all regulatory requirements. /liliLead, train, and supervise a team of warehouse personnel, providing ongoing coaching and performance management to foster a culture of safety and compliance. /liliConduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, ensure compliance with safety standards, and implement corrective actions. /liliCollaborate with internal departments (e.g., logistics, procurement, safety, legal) and external agencies to ensure seamless operations and regulatory adherence. /liliManage hazardous waste disposal programs in accordance with environmental regulations. /liliDevelop and manage the departmental budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising safety or compliance. /liliImplement and maintain robust record-keeping systems for all hazardous goods movements, incidents, and training. /liliRespond to and investigate any incidents involving hazardous materials, implementing preventative measures to avoid recurrence. /liliStay up-to-date with evolving hazardous materials regulations and industry best practices, integrating changes into operational procedures. /li /ulh3Job Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Environmental Health Safety, or a related field. /liliMinimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in warehouse management, with at least 5 years specifically managing hazardous goods. /liliIn-depth knowledge of national and international hazardous materials regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA DGR, IMDG Code, OSHA, local fire codes). Certifications in hazardous materials handling (e.g., HazMat Technician,



DG Shipper) are highly preferred. /liliProven ability to develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive safety programs for hazardous goods. /liliStrong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams. /liliExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. /liliProficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software. /liliExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff, regulatory bodies, and external partners. /liliDemonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing regulatory environments. /liliCommitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to safety and compliance. /li /ulpAt JINGDONG Logistics, we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
