You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team at the client’s premises. /p pYou will be responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, customisation, integration, testing, and ongoing optimisation of the Siemens Polarion Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) platform. /p pThe role works closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical specialists to translate operational requirements into effective Polarion solutions that support engineering, quality, and development processes. /p pYou will be responsible for ensuring that system configurations, integrations, data migrations, and documentation are delivered in compliance with organisational standards. In addition, you will provide user support, deliver training, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Polarion processes and solutions. /p h3About the client and location /h3 pThe ESA Centre for Earth Observation (ESRIN) is the European Space Agency’s (ESA) base in Frascati, Italy. From this location ESA conducts most of their earth observation research, including data analysis and distribution for other non-ESA satellites. /p pThis position is open to protected categories under Italian Law 68/99 (“Rules for the right to work of disabled people”). /p pQuesta posizione e’ aperta alle categorie protette L. 68/99. /p h3Tasks and activities /h3 pThe scope of work will include: /p ul liAnalysing business and stakeholder requirements and translating them into Polarion solution architectures and implementation plans. /li liDefining application scope, data models, workflows, lifecycle management processes, and configuration strategies. /li liConfiguring and customising Siemens Polarion objects, workflows, metadata structures, user roles, and access controls.
/li liDeveloping and maintaining custom forms, workflow automations, and change management processes. /li liDesigning, developing, and supporting integrations between Polarion and internal/external systems using APIs and middleware solutions. /li liPlanning and executing data migration activities, including mapping, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution. /li liDeveloping and executing testing strategies, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing. /li liInvestigating, documenting, and coordinating the resolution of system defects and performance issues. /li liCreating and maintaining technical documentation, configuration baselines, user manuals, and administrator guides. /li liDelivering end-user and administrator training and support knowledge transfer activities. /li liIdentifying opportunities for process improvements and recommend system enhancements. /li liEnsuring configuration management, version control, quality standards, and documentation integrity are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. /li /ul h3Skills and experience /h3 pThe following skills and experience are mandatory: /p ul liBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. /li liDemonstrated experience administering and configuring Siemens Teamcenter. /li liStrong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) principles and processes. /li liExperience with workflow design, metadata management, access control, and lifecycle configuration. /li liKnowledge of enterprise application integration and data migration methodologies. /li liExperience with testing, validation, and system deployment activities. /li liStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. /li liAbility to create technical documentation and conduct user training. /li liFluent in English,
