As a trusted voice for many of the world’s most successful organizations, we use our knowledge to advance safety and performance, set industry benchmarks, and inspire and invent solutions to tackle global transformations. /p h3About The Role /h3 h3Overview: /h3 pDNV Industrial Services is looking for a Senior Technical Specialist – Industrial Services to support technical, operational and quality activities within the Industrial Services business area. /p pThe role will report to the Quality and Technical Manager and will be focused on the supervision of inspection activities, technical support to inspection coordination teams, review of inspection documentation and reports, inspectors’ validation, technical bid support, process improvement and quality assurance activities. /p pThe ideal candidate has a solid technical background in industrial inspection services, with experience in Oil Gas, Power, Energy, Renewables and/or complex EPC projects. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Operational and Technical Support /h3 ul liSupporting and supervising inspection activities performed by inspectors. /li liReviewing inspection documentation, including ITPs, inspection procedures, drawings, manufacturing schedules, project specifications and applicable standards. /li liProviding technical support to inspection coordinators, inspectors and internal stakeholders during daily operational activities. /li liSupporting the clarification of technical issues raised by clients, inspectors or project teams. /li liConducting inspections directly when required. /li liSupporting expediting activities when needed, including review of manufacturing progress, pending technical items and inspection planning. /li liReviewing inspection reports to ensure completeness, consistency, technical accuracy and alignment with project requirements, applicable standards and internal procedures. /li liVerifying that inspection outcomes, findings, deviations, punch items and NCRs are properly reported and supported by adequate evidence. /li liSupporting the improvement of reporting quality and consistency across inspection assignments. /li liManaging and maintaining inspectors’ profiles and technical qualification records.
/li liSupporting the onboarding and approval process of inspectors in line with internal requirements and client-specific criteria. /li liPreparing and performing technical interviews with inspectors and specialist resources. /li liAssessing inspectors’ suitability for specific assignments based on technical background, certifications, experience and project requirements. /li liSupporting the implementation and improvement of internal procedures, operational instructions and quality processes. /li liSupporting root cause analysis activities and the definition of corrective and preventive actions. /li liAssisting during internal and external audits, including audits related to ISO 17020, ISO 9001 and client requirements. /li liPromoting continuous improvement of inspection processes, report review workflows and technical governance. /li liSupporting bid managers during tender and proposal phases. /li liReviewing technical specifications, scopes of work and client requirements. /li liIdentifying suitable technical resources for projects and supporting the preparation of inspectors’ profiles for client submission. /li liProviding technical input for commercial proposals where required. /li liSupporting and conducting remote inspections when applicable. /li liPreparing and delivering technical training sessions for inspectors, coordinators and internal teams. /li liSupporting the implementation of remote inspection methodologies, tools and procedures. /li liFacilitating training follow-up and ensuring alignment with internal technical requirements. /li liActing as a technical point of contact for key clients and internal teams. /li liSupporting client audits, technical meetings and clarification processes. /li liAssisting with the validation of resources for key client projects. /li liContributing to the resolution of technical issues and operational escalations. /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 pDNV is an Equal Opportunity Employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to gender, religion, race, national or ethnic origin, cultural background, social group, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, age or political opinion. Quality Management or another relevant technical discipline is preferred. Candidates with a technical diploma and proven relevant experience in the inspection, quality or industrial services sector may also be considered. /li liMinimum 08 years of experience in inspection, quality control, quality assurance, manufacturing, EPC projects or industrial services. /li liGood knowledge of inspection activities related to Oil Gas, Power, Energy, Renewables and/or industrial equipment. /li liSolid understanding of international standards and technical specifications, including, as applicable, EN 10204, ASTM, ASME, API, IEC and relevant DNV standards. /li liGood knowledge of welding, NDT, mechanical inspection and manufacturing processes. /li liAbility to review technical documentation such as ITPs, inspection procedures, drawings, specifications, test reports and inspection reports. /li liGood knowledge of quality management systems and inspection body requirements, including ISO 9001 and ISO 17020. /li liFluent English, both written and spoken. /li liStrong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills. /li liAbility to work with clients, inspectors, vendors and internal teams in a structured and professional manner. /li /ul h3Preferred Background /h3 ul liPrevious experience in third-party inspection, vendor inspection, EPC environments, manufacturing surveillance or technical quality roles. /li liGood electrical and instrumentation background, especially in relation to industrial equipment, electrical packages, control systems, instrumentation, panels, FAT activities, project inspection and vendor surveillance. /li liExperience in Oil Gas, energy, power generation, renewable energy or large industrial projects. /li liPrevious involvement in technical bid support, inspectors’ qualification, technical interviews or resource validation. /li liFamiliarity with root cause analysis, NCR management, corrective actions and audit support. /li liExperience in remote inspection methodologies and digital inspection tools. /li liAdditional technical certifications related to welding, NDT, coating, electrical/instrumentation, quality or auditing. /li /ul h3Candidate Profile /h3 ul liWe are looking for a technically solid and structured professional with a practical inspection mindset, able to combine field experience with technical review, coordination and quality governance. /li liThe candidate should be able to work independently, support operational teams, communicate clearly with clients and inspectors, and contribute to the continuous improvement of inspection services. /li liA collaborative attitude, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple technical topics in parallel are essential for this role. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
