Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified
Roman Catholic Priest
to provide Catholic worship, sacramental, and pastoral support to the
Vicenza Military Community in Italy
. The Priest will conduct Mass, administer Catholic sacraments, provide pastoral care, and support special religious observances in accordance with Roman Catholic practices and Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS) requirements.

Building 29, Caserma Ederle
Vicenza, Italy
Work Schedule
Conduct Sunday Mass and Reconciliation between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM
Arrive at least 15 minutes before scheduled services for preparation
Provide services for designated Catholic Holy Days and special observances
Be available for scheduled baptisms, marriages, reconciliation, and other sacramental services
Provide emergency Anointing of the Sick as needed
Support First Holy Communion and Confirmation activities as scheduled
Additional services will be coordinated based on chapel requirements

Primary Responsibilities
Celebrate Catholic Mass and deliver appropriate homilies
Administer the Sacrament of Reconciliation
Perform baptisms and marriages with Mass when scheduled
Provide emergency Anointing of the Sick
Support funerals, pastoral care, counseling, and hospital/home visitation when required
Support Catholic Holy Days, Lent, Advent, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, and other special religious events
Provide Catholic religious guidance and support when serving as the primary Catholic Priest
Coordinate effectively with chapel leadership, parish representatives, and the Catholic community
Maintain confidentiality regarding parishioners, volunteers, and participants
Maintain professional conduct and appearance appropriate for Catholic ministry
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must:
Be an ordained Priest of the Roman Catholic Church
Hold an active ecclesiastical endorsement from the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS)
Have faculties accepted or granted by the AMS Archbishop
Be qualified to celebrate Mass and administer Catholic sacraments in accordance with Roman Catholic requirements
Be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and for required administrative coordination
Be able to work professionally with military personnel, families, chapel staff, volunteers, and parishioners
Be able to meet applicable installation access, security, and training requirements
