Moving beyond individual contributions, your primary focus will be on team success, delivery, and people growth. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like: /p ul libLead and grow a Consumer-oriented team: /b Own the day-to-day management of a squad of 3-5 engineers. Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring high team morale. /li libPeople Management Mentorship: /b Actively invest in the growth of your team members through regular 1:1s, actionable feedback, performance reviews, and identifying stretch opportunities to help them advance their careers. /li libDrive delivery and technical execution: /b Translate product and business goals into a clear, predictable technical roadmap. Optimize agile workflows, unblock your team, and ensure reliable execution of ambitious projects. /li libCollaborate across domains: /b Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineering Managers to align on priorities, manage dependencies, and define shared engineering standards. /li libReport up and communicate clearly: /b Keep leadership informed on team progress, risks, and blockers, effectively translating technical complexities into business-relevant terms. /li /ul pExpect challenges, collaboration, and the freedom to bring your ideas to life. your btechnical background /b will be crucial to partner with your Senior and Staff Engineers, facilitating architectural discussions and ensuring the right technical decisions are made. Our tech stack includes PostgreSQL, bJava /b, and Spring Boot, relying on bAWS /b for infrastructure (EC2/ECS, S3, AWS Lambda, Kinesis, ElasticSearch). Together with your senior technical leads, you will ensure the team's technical health while taking ownership of end-to-end deliverables /p h3Who we’re looking for /h3 ul libEngineering Leadership Experience: /b 5+ years in backend engineering, with at least 2+ years managing a squad in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. /li libPeople-First Mindset: /b Strong empathy and coaching skills, with a proven track record of mentoring engineers and fostering an inclusive, collaborative team culture. /li libBackend Expertise Cloud Architecture: /b Strong command of distributed systems and API design. You know what good looks like and can guide your team in building robust, scalable services in a high-growth or regulated industry. /li libProven Delivery Ownership: /b Demonstrated ability to own end-to-end delivery of complex features. Experience with Agile methodologies and using metrics to improve team velocity and quality. /li libClear and Effective Communication (English): /b Comfortable engaging with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders; able to represent your team's work to leadership and translate business needs into technical direction. /li libPassion for Fintech and Investment Products: /b Genuine interest in how technology is reshaping the way people manage their money, with an appreciation for the responsibility that comes with building in a regulated,
