ppbTXT E-Tech /b, part of the bTXT Group /b, is looking for a bField Service Representative /b to join a strategic bAerospace Defence /b project, providing maintenance and technical support for the bGround Based Training System (GBTS) /b.
/p pWe are looking for a motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented professional who is eager to pursue an international career in a highly technological and innovative environment.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop specialized expertise while supporting the maintenance and operation of complex training systems.
/p pThe position includes an initial b3-month on-the-job training period at the customer's site in Venegono (VA), Italy, working full-time on-site /b.
Upon completion of the training, the selected candidate will be brelocated to Enugu, Nigeria /b, where they will continue providing technical support and maintenance services for the customer.
/p h3What you will do /h3 ul liSet up and maintain the technical support system by performing backups and defining recovery procedures; /li liPeriodically power on and shut down hardware systems to support training and operational activities; /li liPerform routine technical inspections and visual checks to ensure the proper functioning of system components; /li liCarry out scheduled and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with the applicable technical documentation; /li liIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve system malfunctions through corrective maintenance activities; /li liPrepare maintenance reports documenting preventive and corrective interventions; /li liCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams and the customer to ensure system availability and operational continuity.
/li /ul h3Required skills /h3 ul liIT background with knowledge of Windows-based client/server architectures and networking; /li liKnowledge of C, C++,



and Python programming languages; /li liKnowledge of onboard systems and the principles of air navigation; /li liExcellent command of the English language; /li liWillingness to travel and relocate internationally.
/li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liKnowledge of the French language; /li liExperience with training systems and flight simulators; /li liExperience in troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and bug fixing within computer and electronic systems maintenance; /li liStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
/li /ul h3Education /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
