ppRINA is currently recruiting for a bLombardy Emilia Romagna Certification Lead Auditor - Sustainability and GHG Protocol /b to join its office in Bologna, Italy within the bMediterranean Africa Certification /b Division.
/p h3Mission /h3 pThe role focuses on planning, conducting, and managing audits within our certification business related to the different certification schemes.
/p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 ul li h3Audit Program Management /h3 pDevelop, manage, and oversee the audit program, ensuring full alignment with organizational objectives and relevant industry standards.
/p /li li h3Document Review /h3 pReview customer management system documentation (manuals, procedures, instructions, records, and files) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
/p /li li h3Audit Planning /h3 pPlan and organize audit activities, coordinating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
/p /li li h3Audit Execution /h3 pLead and participate in audits, conducting interviews, collecting evidence, and evaluating the effective implementation of management systems.
/p /li li h3Audit Findings Evaluation /h3 pIdentify, assess, and classify audit findings, including non-conformities, observations, and opportunities for improvement.
/p /li li h3Reporting /h3 pPrepare comprehensive audit reports, clearly outlining findings, conclusions, and recommendations to support certification decisions.
/p /li li h3Follow-Up Management /h3 pMonitor and manage post-audit activities, ensuring timely closure of non-conformities and verification of corrective actions.
/p /li li h3Technical Review /h3 pPerform detailed technical reviews of audit documentation and provide recommendations for certification decisions based on thorough analysis.
/p /li li h3Continuous Professional Development /h3 pMaintain and update professional competencies, certifications, and technical knowledge in line with evolving standards and best practices.
/p /li li h3Performance Monitoring /h3 pEvaluate and support the performance of auditors and other resources involved in the certification process.
/p /li li h3Data Management /h3 pEnsure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of customer data and audit-related information.




/p /li li h3Customer Engagement /h3 pLead technical discussions with clients, building strong relationships and effectively addressing technical requirements and concerns.
/p /li /ul h3Education /h3 pBachelor's Degree in Engineering General or Business Administration Finance Management /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul li h3Professional Experience /h3 pAt least 3 years of experience in auditing within management systems and international standards (e.g. ISO), or equivalent experience as a consultant in the same domains.
/p /li li h3Technical Regulatory Knowledge /h3 pStrong knowledge of sustainability frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO *****, ISO *****, GHG Protocol, BIOC).
Familiarity with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology; knowledge of ISO ***** and experience with Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) are considered a plus.
/p /li li h3Audit Compliance Expertise /h3 pSolid understanding of the full audit lifecycle (planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up), with the ability to identify non-conformities and define effective corrective actions.

/p /li li h3Analytical Technical Skills /h3 pExperience in document review, technical assessment and audit result evaluation, with a strong focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
/p /li li h3Communication Stakeholder Management /h3 pExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct interviews, present findings clearly, and engage effectively with clients.

/li /ul h3Compensation Data /h3 pThe salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with bCCNL RINA /b (CNEL code I480).
The gross annual salary range foreseen is between b€40,000 and €55,000 /b and will be finally defined on candidate's professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role.
In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
