/p h3The Role /h3 pWe are seeking a Market Analyst (m/f/d) to support the Critical Raw Materials Facility project.
The CRM?Facility is Europe's strategic initiative to diversify raw material supplies and reduce dependencies.
This role will contribute to strengthening global partnerships and advancing international projects that build sustainable, resilient, critical?raw?materials value chains.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liIdentify, assess, and prioritise mining projects using technical, economic, and ESG frameworks.
/li liConduct market analysis on relevant supply chains and EU?specific trends.
/li liEvaluate commercial and geopolitical factors influencing mining project development.
/li liEngage with stakeholders across industry, government, and research organisations.
/li liSupport investment decisions through data analysis and valuation assessments.
/li liPopulate,
maintain and utilise mining project databases.
/li liCollaborate with internal teams and external partners to advance EIT RawMaterials initiatives.
/li liPrepare and deliver reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
/li liTravel as required to support project development and stakeholder engagement.
/li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liTertiary education in geosciences or engineering (e.g., geology, mineralogy, geochemistry, metallurgy, process engineering, mining engineering).
/li liRelevant work experience applying technical knowledge in the metals mining sector.
/li liStrong understanding of commodity markets, pricing, and value chains within the EU.
/li liFamiliarity with commercial and geopolitical drivers impacting metals mining projects.
/li liAbility to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
/li liWillingness to travel and work across teams.
/li liYou are located in or willing to relocate to one of these countries: Germany, Poland, Italy, Slovenia, Latvia, Finland, Greece.
/li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liAnalytical and critical thinking for project evaluation.
/li liKnowledge of technical and ESG aspects of mining projects.
/li liInvestment frameworks.
/li liStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
/li liUnderstanding of valuation methods for CRM projects (advantageous).
/li liOrganisational and time management skills for handling multiple projects.
/li /ul pThis is a full?time, fixed?term and remote or hybrid position open to candidates located in Germany, Poland, Italy, Slovenia, Latvia, Finland, and Greece.
