This role is crucial for ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of bulky goods, optimizing processes, and leading a high-performing team. /ph3Job Responsibilities /h3ulliManage the day-to-day operations of the bulky goods warehouse,
including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of large and irregularly shaped items. /liliDevelop and implement efficient warehouse layouts, material handling procedures, and inventory management strategies specifically tailored for bulky goods. /liliOptimize space utilization and minimize damage to bulky items through proper storage techniques and equipment usage. /liliLead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse staff, including supervisors, forklift operators, and manual handlers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and productivity targets. /liliMonitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as receiving efficiency, storage accuracy, picking rates, and shipping timeliness, implementing corrective actions as needed. /liliEnsure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards related to warehouse operations and bulky item handling. /liliCollaborate with transportation, inventory, and customer service departments to streamline the end-to-end supply chain for bulky products. /liliManage warehouse equipment maintenance schedules and ensure optimal functionality of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy lifting machinery. /liliImplement and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technologies to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy. /liliConduct regular audits of inventory and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices. /li /ulh3Job Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. /liliMinimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in warehouse management, with at least 3 years specifically managing operations involving bulky or large items.
/liliProven track record of successfully optimizing warehouse processes, improving efficiency, and reducing operational costs. /liliStrong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop a diverse workforce. /liliIn-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other inventory control software. /liliExpertise in material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks) operation and safety regulations. /liliExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. /liliStrong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. /liliAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. /liliProficiency in English; knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is a plus. /li /ulpAt JINGDONG Logistics, we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
