As Engineering Manager for our Edge Network team in the Platform Engineering domain, you will lead the team responsible for the very entry point of our ecosystem. You’ll own the global traffic management, security, and connectivity that ensure our services are fast, reliable, and secure for hundreds of thousands of merchants. /p pThis isn't just about keeping the lights on; it’s about architecting a world‑class platform that enables our product teams to ship with confidence. You’ll drive the technical roadmap for our edge services and service mesh, balancing high‑performance engineering with a people‑first leadership style. We’re looking for a leader who can mentor a high‑performing team, bridge the gap between complex infrastructure and business value, and help us scale our network architecture to meet the next decade of growth. /p h3What You’ll Ship /h3 ul liBuild and scale a high-performance Edge and Network platform that supports Mollie’s transition to a multi-service financial ecosystem. /li liDrive the evolution of our Service Mesh and global traffic routing to ensure 99.99% availability and seamless connectivity. /li liDeliver a developer-centric internal platform that allows engineering teams to manage their own network requirements with zero friction. /li liLead and mentor a team of specialized engineers,



fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous delivery. /li liOptimize our edge security and WAF strategies to stay ahead of evolving threats while maintaining peak performance. /li /ul h3What You’ll Bring /h3 ul liProven experience leading and scaling infrastructure or platform engineering teams in high-growth environments. /li liDeep technical expertise in modern networking, including Service Mesh, Load Balancing, and Edge computing. /li liA strong track record of managing distributed systems on public cloud providers, specifically GCP. /li liExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and a "platform-as-a-product" mindset to empower other developers. /li liExceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex network architecture into clear business outcomes. /li /ul h3Grow your way /h3 pAt Mollie, growth is personal.
