/p /brh3bThis is what you will do /b /h3 /brpThe Environmental specialist is responsible for leading the site's environmental compliance strategy throughout the project and operational lifecycle, ensuring full compliance with applicable environmental legislation, corporate standards and permit requirements.
/p /brpThe role is accountable for developing and maintaining the site's Environmental Management System, managing environmental permitting activities, supporting sustainable site development and ensuring environmental risks are effectively identified and managed.
/p /brpWorking in close collaboration with the Process Safety Seveso Specialsit, the position contributes to the implementation of the site's Major Accident Prevention Policy (MAPP) and Safety Management System (SMS) by ensuring that environmental aspects related to Seveso legislation are effectively addressed and integrated into site operations.
/p /brpThe position reports to the Head of HSE.
/p /brh3bYou will be responsible for /b /h3 /brul /brliEnsure compliance with applicable environmental legislation, corporate standards and permit requirements.
/li /brliManage environmental permits, authorizations and regulatory obligations (AUA/ AIA) /li /brliAct as the primary interface with environmental authorities and regulatory agencies.
/li /brliCoordinate environmental inspections and support regulatory audits.
/li /brliDevelop and maintain the Site Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO ***** principles.
/li /brliCoordinate environmental aspects and impacts assessments.
/li /brliManage waste management programs, air emissions, wastewater, hazardous substances and environmental monitoring activities.
/li /brliMonitor environmental performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
/li /brliDevelop and implement environmental procedures, standards and operational controls.
/li /brliSupport the implementation and continuous improvement of the environmental elements of the site's Major Accident Prevention Policy (MAPP) and Safety Management System (SMS).
/li /brliCollaborate with the Process Safety Seveso Specialist in environmental risk assessments associated with Major Accident Hazards.
/li /brliSupport environmental evaluations within the Management of Change (MOC) process.
/li /brliContribute to emergency preparedness and emergency response planning from an environmental perspective.
/li /brliEnsure environmental permits and compliance obligations remain aligned with site operational changes and Seveso requirements.

/li /br /ul /brh3bYou will need to have /b /h3 /brul /brliDegree in Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Environmental Sciences or other relevant scientific disciplines.
/li /brliProven experience in environmental management within pharmaceutical, chemical or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
/li /brliGood knowledge of Italian environmental legislation and permitting processes (D.Lgs.********).
/li /brliExperience with Environmental Management Systems (ISO *****).
/li /brliKnowledge of Seveso legislation and environmental aspects associated with Major Accident Prevention is considered a strong advantage.
/li /brliFluent Italian and English.
