ppbPlanckian /b is developing the core technology to power utility-scale quantum computers.

/p h3What You'll be doing /h3 ul liDesign superconducting qubits, couplers, and quantum circuits for scalable quantum processors /li liDevelop and optimize qubit architectures with respect to coherence, frequency crowding, control, and readout /li liPerform electromagnetic and circuit-level simulations (participation ratios, loss channels, mode analysis) /li liAnalyze sensitivity to fabrication tolerances and process variations /li liDefine design rules that balance performance with manufacturability and yield /li liSupport the experimental team by interpreting measurement data and feeding results back into design iterations /li liContribute to system?level architectural choices (connectivity,



coupling schemes, control simplification) /li liDocument designs, simulations, and design rationale for internal and external use /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liPhD or MSc in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field /li liProficiency with EM and circuit simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, Sonnet, COMSOL, or equivalent) /li liBackground in superconducting qubit physics and circuit quantum electrodynamics (cQED) /li liSolid understanding of decoherence mechanisms and materials loss in superconducting devices /li liHands?on experience designing superconducting quantum circuits /li liAbility to connect theoretical models with experimental constraints /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liCompetitive salary + benefits /li liStock options /li liFlexible working hours with hybrid working /li liEgo?free, merit?based environment /li /ul pPlanckian is an equal?opportunity employer.
