Hi! We are creating a mobile RPG with an open world and deep social mechanics.
Our project is a living digital city where players can build careers, own property, interact with other players, earn money, and choose their own path — from law enforcement to becoming a member of a street gang.
We are looking for a Product Owner to lead the development of the Core direction of the project. This role is responsible for key game systems that directly impact player retention, engagement, and long-term progression.
The role sits at the intersection of systems game design, product management, and team leadership.
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
- Own Core Gameplay and social gameplay systems that drive player engagement and overall player experience quality.
- Analyze player behavior, develop hypotheses, run experiments, and evaluate their impact on key product metrics.
- Design concepts for new mechanics, systems, and improvements to the player experience.
- Create product briefs and support initiatives throughout the entire production cycle.
- Coordinate the team’s work and ensure features are delivered on time and with the required quality.
- Identify and remove blockers that affect task completion and business goals.
- Deeply understand the product by actively playing the game and analyzing the player journey across all stages of progression.
- Conduct competitor research and analyze market best practices to identify new product opportunities.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
- Experience working on GTA-like, Sandbox, MMO, or Social RP projects.
- Experience independently owning game systems, features, or product areas in GaaS projects.
- Strong understanding of Core Gameplay, social game systems, player retention, and player motivation.
- Ability to identify product growth opportunities through player behavior analysis, product metrics, and qualitative research.
- Ability to independently formulate and validate product hypotheses.
- Experience making data-driven decisions based on analytics and product metrics.
- Experience managing a team or coordinating cross-functional specialists.
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on their potential impact on product metrics and implementation costs.
Nice to have:
- Experience designing and developing long-term game systems and core gameplay.
- Experience working with SQL, BI systems, or product analytics tools.
- Experience managing a team of game designers or product specialists.
- Experience launching and scaling large gameplay systems in a live environment.
Why do we enjoy working here?
- Fully remote work.
- Flexible schedule — we focus on results, not hours worked.
- The opportunity to work on a growing game project with an active community and directly influence the product’s development.
- Fast iterations and minimal bureaucracy — decisions are made quickly, and ideas can be implemented without lengthy approval processes.
- Private health insurance after the probation period.
