The candidate will be responsible for the Go-to-Market Strategy of Fendi collections, designing, coordinating and executing the Global Launch Strategy and 360° Marketing Plan, with the objective to communicate the value of each Fendi collection through an innovative and effective strategy, aligned with brand, product and business priorities. This role reports into the WW Retail department based in Rome and manages a team of 2 people.
Job responsibilities
- Develop the go-to-market strategy for every Fendi collections (woman, man, kids, lifestyle accessories) and special projects: design the yearly marketing calendar; identify the key product focus and develop the related 360° Plans (Launch initiatives, Special Capsules, Collabs); coordinate at central level all the Marketing launch plans and calendars for the launches (online and offline) in cooperation with the HQ functions involved (Collection & Retail Merchandising, Communication, Omnichannel, Visual Merchandising, Training, Supply Chain, and Regional Leaders)
- Approach disruption and innovation in the launch design process, while developing extensive competitive analysis for market trends and best practices within and beyond the luxury fashion industry
- Present these launch plans in an inspiring, clear and effective way to regional teams and liaise with them to localize the marketing strategy and 360 plans based on local needs
- Monitor launch sales performance and marketing ROI for in-season and forward-looking optimization
- Define key product bets, key stories and retail focuses to activate different cross-department actions, including content briefs, collection shooting, VM designs, CRM campaigns, events and training actions
- Monitor launch sales performance and Marketing ROI for future optimization
- Effectively manage and develop team members to deliver innovative, impactful plans that meet business objectives,
while maintaining different deadlines for execution
Profile
- 10 years experience in Marketing/Merchandising/Retail. Luxury industry is a plus
- Strong strategic mindset, with ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines
- Strong project management skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally
- Strong product sensibility/aesthetic and commercial acumen; able to influence during the collection buying process
- Superior ability to build very strong peer relationships and lateral influence
- Excellent capability to inspire and manage teams directly and indirectly
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Superior project management skills with preferred experience in marketing projects, with strong attention to detail
- Fluent in English, Italian knowledge would be considered a plus
- Availability to travel for buying session and market visits up to 30% of the time

Additional information
For new joiners for this role in Italy, the annual gross salary associated with this position is EUR 55.000.
This role is also eligible for bonuses, subject to Fendi's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance. On top of legal benefits,
further benefits are provided in accordance with current company policies.
This position is subject to the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement (CCNL Commercio) applicable to the role and applied by Fendi in Italy".
