Our projects increasingly combine hardware, software, sensors, control systems and interaction with physical environments. We are looking for a Technical Operations Manager to support the industrialization, operational planning and delivery of complex technology-driven systems.
The role mission
Support the transition of complex integrated systems from advanced prototypes to repeatable, reliable and economically sustainable delivery.
What you will do
- Coordinate the operational planning and delivery of complex technology-driven projects.
- Support the transition from prototype to repeatable production and delivery.
- Coordinate suppliers, procurement activities and critical lead times.
- Maintain product and system configurations, technical documentation and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Plan and coordinate system assembly, integration, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and customer installation.
- Monitor project schedules, costs and operational risks, escalating issues when required.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Software, Product and Commercial teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, tools and delivery standards.
What we are looking for
- Around 5–10 years of experience in one or more of the following fields: robotics, advanced prototypes, hardware/software integration, operations, industrialization, technical project delivery or manufacturing engineering within industrial or technology-driven environments.
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and software-based systems, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with BOMs, configuration management, supply chain, cost control, risk management and FAT/SAT processes.
- A hands-on, structured and assertive approach, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, suppliers and senior customer stakeholders.
- Professional proficiency in Italian and English.
- Availability to travel to customer and supplier sites worldwide.
