We are looking for an Operations Welding Engineer who will coordinate and support all welding-related activities within our manufacturing operations in Lugagnano Val d’Arda. /p pThis is a dynamic, hands‑on role where you will work closely with production teams, quality, and engineering to ensure welding processes are compliant, efficient, and aligned with customer requirements. You will be involved in both daily operational topics and problem‑solving activities, contributing to a critical and highly specialized area of our business. /p h3In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: /h3 ul liCoordinate and support daily welding activities, ensuring compliance with standards and customer requirements. /li liAnalyze customer orders and select appropriate welding procedures (WPS), supporting PQR development when needed. /li liWork closely with operators to ensure correct execution of welding processes and material usage. /li liReview production plans and ensure availability of consumables and resources. /li liManage welding consumables (selection, ordering, and proper use). /li liIdentify and resolve welding‑related non‑conformities, ensuring corrective actions. /li liPrepare working instructions and ensure documentation and traceability. /li liSupport operator qualifications (WPQ/WOPQ) and certification continuity. /li liCollaborate with Quality on inspections and support audit activities. /li liEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and HSEQ standards. /li /ul h3Who You Are: /h3 pYou are a hands‑on and adaptable engineer who enjoys working close to operations and solving real‑time challenges. You are detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a dynamic environment, balancing technical requirements with production needs while effectively communicating with operators and stakeholders to drive solutions. /p h3For This Role, You Will Need: /h3 ul liWelding certification (IWE / IWT / IWI / IWS or equivalent)



/li liDegree in Engineering or a technical field is a plus. /li liMinimum 5 years of experience in welding, manufacturing, or similar environments. /li liGood knowledge of welding processes, materials, and standards. /li liExperience with WPS/PQR and quality requirements. /li liAbility to manage non‑conformities and corrective actions. /li liItalian fluency and a minimumof B1-B2 in English /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: /h3 ul liExposure to testing activities (e.g. cryogenic or similar). /li liExperience in procedure development related to welding. /li liExperience in industrial manufacturing (valves, pressure equipment, or similar). /li liFlexibility to develop additional certifications if needed. /li /ul h3Our Culture and Commitment To You: /h3 pAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
