The research focuses on dissecting out the cellular and circuit mechanisms underlying sensory discrimination. /p /brpWithin the research team, your main responsibilities will be: /p /brul /brliConduct two-photon imaging and photostimulation experiments /li /brliData analysis /li /brliWriting reports and papers describing obtained results /li /br /ul /brh3ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS /h3 /brul /brliA PhD in Neuroscience, Neurobiology, or a related disciplines /li /brliExperience with two-photon microscopy for functional imaging experiments /li /brliDocumented experience in preclinical research activities and laboratory procedures /li /brliGood command of spoken and written English /li /br /ul /brh3ADDITIONAL SKILLS /h3 /brul /brliExperience in writing codes with Python and MatLab /li /brliAbility to work in a challenging and international environment /li /brliCapacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment /li /brliPossess Analytical Reasoning skills and a growth mindset /li /br /ul /brh3COMPENSATION PACKAGE /h3 /brul /brliA yearly gross salary ranging between 30K and 33K /li /brliPrivate health care coverage depending on your role and contract /li /brliCandidates from abroad or Italian citizens who have carried scientific research activity permanently abroad and meet specific requirements, may be entitled to a deduction from taxable income of up to 90% from 6 to 13 years. /li /br /ul /brpApplication’s deadline: August 25th, 2026 /p /brpTo discover more about life at IIT, visit the dedicated section here: /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
